The Upper Don Walk Trust is a registered charity formed in 2004 to develop a riverside walk.
We are committed to providing an accessible trail along the River Don from Lady's Bridge to Beeley Wood, Oughtibridge. We want to ensure that everyone can enjoy and benefit from our beautiful heritage including walkers, cyclists, wheelchair users, anglers, canoeists etc.
The Upper Don Walk links with the Five Weirs Walk via the Wicker and will eventually link with the Pennine Trail to the north of the city.
Central to the development of the first stage of the walk is the Sheffield Brooklyn Bridge, a one tenth replica of the original and intended to bridge the Don between Kelham Island and Brooklyn Works at Ball Street.
